Southern Hemisphere Shades offers numerous services to fulfill your shade needs. Your DSA shade structure will be built according to the department of state architects requirements. Southern Hemisphere was established with the emergence of the shade industry in the 1990's and our manufacturers have over 15 years of experience. Your DSA shade structure will be installed by one of our licensed contractors.

There are numerous aspects to the DSA process. Southern Hemisphere will provide your school or organization with a certified shade structure and will provide the services below.

If awarded a contract, Southern Hemisphere will...

• Provide Pre Approved PC Plans & Calculations
• Provide fabricated structures to ordered size
• Powder coat all steel in color of your choice
• Transport structures to site

Work with DSA Inspector and facilities manager …

• Perform a site inspection and layout – includes shooting of grades for installation
• Prepare footings.
• Provide and set rebar cages as per drawing specs.
• Set all steel supports and pour concrete footings
• Supply concrete conforming to required compressive strengths (co-ordinate with DSA inspector/lab for all material samples at time of pour)
• Erect steel roof support structure
• Provide all hardware for steel erection. Drill and bolt upper roof structure.
• Provide all cabling for HDPE tensioning
• Provide and install HDPE roof. Tension to required PSI

Certifications

• Provide CA. Fire Marshall Certification for fabric to DSA inspector

Insurance

• Provide liability insurance while on site.
